the TEchniteers' Activities 2014-2015
This year, the Techniteers have been really working to learn to create through coding. In the Spring they explored the lessons on code.org and were eventually able to create their own inputs using materials like foil, bananas, and Play-Doh. This page is designed to outline what we have done so far and plans for the future.
Spring 2015 CS-First Intro to Coding Program:
This second session of our Techniteer Troupe introduced a great program from Google that teaches students to code using the free Scratch program. The students made some interesting projects following the theme of Music and Sound. Find out more by visiting cs-first.com. Our second session began on January 28 and ends on March 25. Students meet once a week on Wednesday. We had an application available for students to join us in the Spring. It can be found here.
Fall 2014 included some amazing coding activities found in the code.org program and some exploration of the Makey Makey. Click here for a more detailed description of our TechClub activities.
